OISC adviser finder

By Joe Bell

We're delighted to announce the launch of the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner's (OISC) new adviser finder system.

We helped the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) to develop an accessible, easy and efficient way of finding regulated immigration advisers.

The feature provides two methods of helping potential clients find advisors:

  1. Location and/or Type of Advice
  2. Organisation and/or Adviser

The adviser finder includes unique .NET functionality which uses geolocation, enabling people to find an immigration advisor near to them.

Our simple, tabular design makes it easy to navigate, along with drop down menus on preferences for gender specific and charging or non-charging advice.

We've also created a page that answers "Which level of advice do I need?" an informative, visually attractive way of finding an appropriate level of advice.

Our most unique feature in the adviser finder is the use of Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) to provide auto-complete forms, making the process of finding an organisation name much more efficient.
